Eric and I went home last weekend to celebrate my Mom & my birthday. It was a blast and it was SO GOOD to be home. There was much debauchery and people went a little crazy, but, what the hell.

Let's take it back to basics
I'm having one of those "screw the man!!" sort of days. Sometimes I feel as if my true skills are completely wasted in my professional career. Honestly. Maybe I'm just meant to be part of a different era, I dunno. If I had my druthers, I would do tone illustrations all the time and that's it. I would go to surgeries, I would interact one-on-one with scientists, I would cultivate my own product. That's not my life right now, I'm sorry to say.
Sigh. Just one of those moments when I needed to get stuff off my chest, you know?

I'm a music-obsessed, diet coke addicted, medical illustrator living with my beloved husband & kitties in SE Michigan. I'm back in school because I seem to love the "torture" that only academia can provide ;)
