...or at least that's the impression I've been getting from my Flickr comments on my drawings lately. ;p I've been on a food-drawing kick and it seems I'm tempting folks into all kinds of debauchery! Junior Mints, Oreos, bread, Handi Snacks...

By the way, if I'm brave enough, I will have a big announcement real soon. I will divulge to you that I'm staring at the paper, fiddling around online, avoiding taking the leap... :/

Isn't it amazing how one can be paralyzed when one KNOWS that what they are about to do might be the coolest and funnest thing they've ever attempted?? What am I so scared of?

It's so simple, yet so eye-opening if you don't pay attention to advertising and how insidious it is. I personally count marketing & advertising amongst the most deplorable of jobs (in general) out there and find most of it sneaky & conceived to deceive. We don't have any idea how susceptible we are to it all.

This guy (girl?) is taking photos of fast food as it's purchased and posts the "advertised" version next to it for comparison.
