Eric finished his NaNoWriMo quest tonight, finishing a 50,000 word novella in the month of November. I am sooooo proud. :)

Holy jeebus on crutches.
Woah woah, WHAT?? I went to subscribe to the XML feed for the "featured books" category on blurb.com and GUESS WHAT I SAW???
BOTH of my books? Featured?? Seriously?!
I... I am speechless.
I'm not sure how to tackle this, so, I'll start here. Anyone who ordered my books from Blurb and HASN'T GIVEN ME THEIR ADDRESS - I need it! Blurb doesn't show me who buys the books so it can protect the buyer's privacy, so, I have a bunch of mystery purchasers as a result.
Please email me and tell me which book you bought and your address so I can send you your bookplate!
I'm frantic trying to think of ways to find out who these buyers are! Help!

| I have exciting news! The drawing-a-day
project I've been working on since last November 2006 is now
available in print! Head on over to Blurb.com to see each 40-drawing volume (there are two) and order one, if you'd like. They're available in softcover & hardcover (with a swanky dust jacket). You can even see a pdf preview of each before you buy! Softcover is $22 and hardcover is $32 - they're a steal! Also, the first 30 people who order (and send me their mailing addresses) will receive a signed & editioned bookplate to afix inside their copy! Thank you ALL for your support of this project. I hope to self-publish more books like this in the future! All my best, ![]() |
Lookie there! I'm on the AMAZON.CA website.
That's moderately surreal. Sweet.
Funny how the US version of Amazon doesn't give the illustrator credit. Hmm...
Our friend Marissa is an incredibly prolific book-reader!
Check out her page of book reviews from 2005-now, if-in you don't believe me!

PS> I HATE indie rock darling-of-the-moment Joanna Newsom!!! Sigh. Maybe that was a little harsh... I *greatly dislike* her singing with a fiery passion. I love Bjork and Kate Bush and their odd-pitch-y ways, but, this chick's just... well... wrong. Yet another "I don't get the hype" reaction from this corner of the universe...
