CONTEST: A print, a book & an original sketch.

 

Ooo! Ooo! I have a big 'ole announcement to make!

The 150th sketch/painting for my drawing-a-day project needs your help! And for your troubles, I will make it worth your while. :)

Here's the deal: If you pick the winning idea for my 150th drawing-a-day image (i.e. you're the uber-fan), you will WIN IT. You heard me - you will win the ORIGINAL drawing.

And that's not all! If you suggest my second or third favourite ideas, you'll win things too!

• Second place (i.e. cheerleader extraordinaire) will win a copy of the 3rd Blurb book. The book is created and ready to go to press as we speak. I will order one for you & sign it.

• Third place (i.e. the ideasmith) will win an Imagekind print of your choice! I will order & sign this too.

Why am I doing this? Have I lost it completely?

Nope. You see, this project has actually saved my sanity more times than I can count and YOU are a big part of that. Your encouragement, kind & constructive ideas, your comments... it's been an amazing and totally unexpected joy. I've met SO many new friends as well.

The nitty-gritty: First, *I* will pick the winners... obviously. I may consult my husband if I'm stuck, so, he won't be eligible to win. Sorry, honey! ;p  My 150th drawing will be created on June 10th. My math is off, I know... I'm picking that date because it would've been my Dad's 68th birthday... I want to commemorate it*. So, you can start submitting ideas to me immediately and I'll finish accepting submissions on June 6th @ 9pm.

I'll announce the winners through the drawings:

• On June 8th, I will draw and display the third place winner's image
• On June 9th, I'll display the second place idea, &,
• On June 10th, I'll reveal the uber-fan!

Please don't leave suggestions on Flickr or here... I want to keep it all together in one place just in case the response is large.

Also, if you've got a photo of something you really fancy, feel free to include it with your email! You can enter up to three times.

I can't wait to see your ideas, but, I won't be keen on any of the following: celebrities, your pet, you/another person you know or don't know, a family member, a landscape, or anything overtly pornographic. You are probably familiar with the project, so, use that as your guide. Obviously, don't duplicate anything I've already drawn, and, I love drawing single (or small groups) of everyday things, primarily. :)

Where will I post the winners?
On the Official ALLTAGLICH™ site & on my Flickr pages. It'll probably end up here too after all three winners are picked.

It will take a week or two (particularly for the book & print) to get the winners their awards, so, don't fret!
